New Web Site for Stokes & Congleton, Inc.

Tuesday, February 9, 2010

Welcome to our new web site!  We hope it provides you with useful and timely information about propane and doing business with Stokes and Congleton, Inc. to meet all your propane and propane accessories needs.

We are very excited about the web site and its ability to help our customers reach us any time of day or night so we can serve you while allowing you to send us information and requests on your schedule in case you can't make it into the office during business hours.  We know you are very busy with your lives and hope the web site facilitates your needs better.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be converting our Route customers to a full Degree Days propane tracking and will also be adding an indicator to your tanks when you are converted.  Degree days measures the number of days below a target of 65o F and is an industry accepted measure of heating consumption across many fuel sources and based on your historical usage.  But that alone isn't enough to make sure you never run out of propane in your tank, so we will also be adding a lighted indicator to your tanks that will illuminate when the tank reaches 25%.  These sensors are certified as Intrinsically Safe by Met Laboratories and is UL listed to ensure years of safe, trouble-free service.  The installation is quick and easy and you won't ever have to walk outside to your tank and lift the bonnet again to check your propane levels.  When it is time for more propane before our route driver reaches your house due to extremely cold weather or your consumption changes because of a thermostat change or you added a propane appliance such as a fireplace, the light will let you know and you can either call us during business hours, leave a message after hours, or use the form to order propane from the menu above to let us know.  We are so confident these measures will prevent you from ever running out of gas we will back this with a promise to give you 50 gallons of propane free of charge if you notify us promptly (within 24 hours of the light going on when it reaches 25%) when the light illuminates and we don't get there in time to fill your tank and you run out.  We are the first and only company in the area to provide this promise of superior service to our customers and demonstrate our commitment to be the best supplier available in the area.
